Through affiliate programs images and text links to products are placed on your site in which you gain a percentage in the form of commission for every product you sell via the link on your site.
This form of revenue is really dependant upon your sites topic and whether there are any sites selling relevant products that other affiliate programs. You are probably best to do a search of Google to find a company that offers this. Using an affiliate program that is not relevant to your sites topic will result in a waste of space, your user are not likely to buy insurance from a site talking about gardening so think wisely.
If you find a relevant affiliate program place the link or affiliate block in the middle or at the bottom of the page that relates to it, you might be wise to remove any other ads from the page or just stick to one other ad block.
